Mission
The mission of the Massachusetts CASA Association is to support and develop local CASA volunteer advocacy programs to champion the best interests of children in the Commonwealth's child protection system [and to advocate for better public policy for them].
Vision
A Commonwealth where every child is given the opportunity to thrive in a safe and permanent home.
Purpose
To provide support to local CASA programs that utilize trained community volunteers to advocate on behalf of children in the court system;
To promote, assist, and support the development, growth, and continuation of CASA programs in the state that agree to follow the standards set by the National CASA Association and this Association;
To advocate for and support the interests of abused and neglected children in the Commonwealth;
To ensure that each and every child in the state grows up in a safe and permanent home; and
To educate the community regarding its responsibility for children involved in the court process.
